# Transaction delay after setting the gas fee

**\*Korean is provided next to English guidance.**

**Due to the nature of Ethereum chain, in the case when there is a large number of transactions to be processed, the transaction may not go through or be subjected to a long delay.**

**When this happens, you can raise the gas fee and speed up the transaction, or cancel and attempt the transaction again.**

1. **Please make sure the Advanced gas controls are set to “ON”.**

**2. After enabling Advanced gas controls, click on Activities to find the pending transaction.**

**3. Click “Speed up” then raise the gas fee to speed up the transaction, or click “Cancel” and attept again with a higher gas fee.**

## Gas 수수료 재설정 후에도 트랜잭션이 지연되는 경

**이더리움 체인 특성상, 처리할 트랜잭션 혼잡도가 높아지는 경우, Gas 수수료 재설정 트랜잭션을 실행하였음에도 처리가 지연될 수 있습니다.**

**이러한 경우, 메타마스크에서 직접 Gas 수수료를 높여 가속화시켜 처리를 완료하거나, 취소한 후 다시 트랜잭션을 요청해야 합니다.**

1. **메타마스크 지갑에서 고급 Gas 제어 기능이  활성화(ON) 되어있는지 확인해주세요.**

2\. **Gas 재설정을 실행한 내 지갑의 “활동” 탭을 클릭하면 Pending 상태의 트랜잭션을 확인할 수 있습니다.**

**3. “가속화” 또는 “취소” 를 선택한 후, Gas 수수료를 높여 저장한 후 트랜잭션을 실행하면 처리가 완료됩니다.**
